Burgers! Yay!

so recently i'vу become addicted to burgers. Not some fast food stuff but nice homemade ones.
I usually use a small mixed grain bun, then some sauce, meat component, vegetables (sometimes pickled) and cheese. You can't go without cheese!
I'll just post some pics of them (Yes, I take pictures of my food!)

1. These two were made with different sauces. Curry and Sweet&Sour. Both Heinz production. I am a Heinz addict! Since like 2007. Then there are in both of them pickled cucumber and pickled hot green pepper. Plus a meat patty steam cooked, which is much healthier than frying. Also note the pink cup from my collection. It's so cute, I use it for hot cocoa or hot chocolate. And the orange one with dots, also from my collection. I prefer having tea in it. The wine bottle is used as a candle holder.

2. These two have same Sweet&Sour sauce. Then this sausage, it is called boiled (cooked) and has these little pieces of fat. I had it lightly fried. Pickles, Cheese and a leaf of lettuce. And my rainbow cup. I had red hibiscus ginger tea in it.
3. This third picture features a not-so-good burger. I used fresh veggies, and I didn't like it. I'm going to give it another try tomorrow and will make the slices thinner. Sweet&Sour Sauce, 2 cheese slices, 2 tomato slices, 2 cucumber slices. And the good old steam cooked meat patty. And one of the latest additions to my collection. This teacup with tea cup pattern. Isn't it cute with the pink and white polka dots?
And I have to add, these are very tasty and very nutritive. I had 2 in the morning (at about 9am) and wasn't hungry long after 6pm. And that's something)
Hope you liked this yummy post.
Come back for more.

And I would choose any 1 of these burgers over any 2 of Wendy's, McDonald's or Burger King ones any day.

Damask patterns

I've got a huge collection of pics on my pc, and there are a bunch of pretty backgrounds, and sure there are damask patterns, cuz I love them!

I googled some more of them for you to enjoy.
 black and white

they can be of various colours

and even multicolours
but i don't like these that much.. i'm into monochromatic ones.

there are loads of stuff you can make with damask patterns!
cakes
i want to know how they make it!

cushions

shoes
i would so wear them =)
tablewear
martini collection <3

boxes
furniture

this vintage sofa  looks simple, but nice
using chair covers is a quick and easy way of changing your room's look)
wallpaper and bedding. soo cool)

Clicking on each of these pics will take you to their sources. I strongly recommend you to check out all of them, where you can find even more damask pattern designs of everything.

I googled a bit more, and here's what Wikipedia says about damask and Damascus. Apparantely damask the fabric derived it's name from Damascus.
Arabs call the city Dimashq or al-Shām or (which is more important in my case ^_^ ) Madīnatul Yāsmīn (which literally means 'City of Jasmine')

I guess I'm taken with this pattern cuz it has deep connections with me. Funny though.
Anyways this pattern is a great inspiration for me.

new blog

and yet another thing I'd like to mention here.

as I've got a collection of mugs and cups I want to post them all for everyone to see. So I think I'll have another blog here, filled with my love to cups! I just need to come up with a cool title.

any ideas?

the picture isn't mine

Monday Morning

Our first Monday Morning is about today's MM.

It started rather early cuz I didn't bother to go to bed. Instead I was surfing cute pictures of cups and cupcakes, of kids and fashion girls, and installed a couple of useful apps on my Nokia (I <3 Nokia!) Now I've got skype at hand everytime. Nice, huh?

Than after a nice warm shower I had a nice warm breakfast.
tea, cake, eggs/
Best breakfast as long as we are out of milk and I can't have cereal. Pity.

So I definitely don't like raw eggs, so I cooked them a bit. Like this.
or a bit more cooked than these..
As I usually drink warm tea with no sugar I make a hot cup beforehand, and it cools while I'm eating. And I accompany it with 2 slices of cake.

And a picture of a cute cup and a superhero cup (the pics are not mine) to finish this oh-so-boring post.

Appetizer :)

I am confused.

This is what people probably do when they feel confused - start blogging.
Or better make a cup of tea.

I did both.

Let's get it started!

Gorgeous cups, aren't they?
