After I finished all the episodes of Sonny, I finally got to watch Bride Wars (2009) starring Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson. I smiled, I laughed and I cried. It is a beautiful movie. But some parts were too short, too cutout (is this a word?) Anne is so gorgeous, and Kate is cute. And they both were perfect for each other as best friends and portrayed their characters amazingly true. Just look at their smiles. They say it all.

The One that started it all
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, 1937
This animation film is unique in many ways. But mostly - it was the first ever full-length animated production. Mr. Walt Disney was a brave man to risk everything to make the magic happen. And we are all eternally grateful to him. Because this literally started a whole number of Disney's Classic animated movies that have been making whole generations happy.
This is Adriana Caselotti's voice you hear while Snow White's singing. And this voice was used only as Snow White's voice according to Adriana's studio contract with Disney. Just imagine you get payed something under $1000 in the late 1930's and never have the chance to earn more money using it.
I first saw it as child on an old VHS. And loved it immensely. All the music in it made me truly happy and I tried to sing along. I used to watch it from time to time. But then somehow that VHS got lost or borrowed by someone. And I never got it back. *sigh*
I'm so glad I can now watch it in English and admire all the beauty of this film in high quality.
And of course some theatrical posters. The vintage one's are absolutely amazing.
I admit I got a bit carried away with all this posters but I couldn't choose. Aren't they just perfect?)
Yet I love Snow White with all my heart I still cannot choose my favourite Disney Princess and the movie. Hard to decide. =)

Love has no boundaries
The Little Mermaid
here's the trailer to it!
here's the trailer to it!
It's a beautiful story and beautiful animation movie. I love the songs in it so much.
I have seen it as a child but remember too little. I remember though watching the show Little Mermaid when she was having fun with Flounder and other little underwater friends. And I remember that Ursula used to scare the crap out of me (and she still does!)
I hated to see great King Triton in that miserable state when Ursula turned him into a plant-animal-something.
Now, to the graphics. Original vintage theatrical posters.
My favourite ones are the first and the third. Now, the second poster looks weird and kinda creepy. but fine =)
And these last two look cute and funny. Sebastian's accent is priceless. =)
I'm going to watch The Return to The Sea and Ariel's Beginning as well. Think I will post about them too.

Share it with someone you love!
Yesterday I stayed up late and watched Disney's Sleeping Beauty for the first time! Can't believe it either lol)
Anyways. Loved it immensely) And I know the main song by heart. I used to sing it with my younger group of students.
And today my sister's family came to visit us and when my baby nephew was trying to cry or felt uncomfortable I hugged him, danced around and sang "Once upon a dream.." The music is just enchanting! He fell asleep almost immediately and was kinda giggling in his sleep from time to time. Sooo cute! I almost pissed my pants because I was so happy) Just listen to it!
The lyrics are quite simple but the melody is magical.
Besides here are some of the posters to this animation movie. Including vintage versions (yay!)
I like the first two most, I guess.
Amazingly colourful and finally there's a prince with personality. :)

What If The Slipper Didn't Fit?
I watched Cinderella (the original Disney animation film, 1950) which I love!
Then Cinderella II: Dreams Come True (2002) and after that Cinderella III: A Twist in Time, which was amazing)
I didn't like the second film that much. Cinderella in it looked like Barbie+Tinker Bell and acted like one. Especially in the first story of 3 little stories)
Some posters including vintage ones.
1. My favourite is the first one, and the 3rd one is close second. Confusing, huh?)
2.Covers for the second Cinderella.

The first one is my favourite.
3. And finally, A twist in time cover.
Frankly, this one is even better than the original Cinderella, I don't know why)
And ofc, her wedding dress in A twist in time was the prettiest)

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1
First of all, I must confess that I'm a Harry Potter fan totally, utterly and completely! I love both the books and the movies. I can't even tell you who my favourite character is, because I love them all with the deepest of loves.
So you can imagine that my review of the film will be from the fan's point of view.
And there might be a little spoiler at the end of the post, so be careful while reading xD
I was just in time for the last moments of the last promo video, and then it all started.
I was laughing, crying, giggling, crying again, at odd moments really, sometimes I bit my lips and made big eyes at the screen, those biting moments were more frequent towards the end.
When I saw Snape (5th minute from the beginning or so) I realized how much I'd missed them all. I wanted to jump up from my seat, reach out for each and every one of the characters and squeeze them, hug them, do the happy dance with them, hop around them with a silly grin on my face. But especially I wanted to hug Snape and Ron, and maybe even Harry, though I don't love him that much)
But well, frankly speaking Daniel is more good-looking than Rupert, I'm just not into Dan's character.
Now believe me, Rupert looked hawt in this film. He had done some good job on his body, and he was quite a picturesque view. <3
I don't remember everything from the movie, but I clearly remember that at tough moments everyone stopped chewing and sipping, and some people sighed but otherwise kept silent.
There may have been pieces I didn't like very much, like those times when I expected to see something cuz it was in the book and they didn't show it in the film. But they were not very essential I think. Though I wish we saw more of Kreacher in this film.
Now the spoiler part, not for those who have no idea of what happened in the last book (huh? Really? You've been reading up to this line?)
The saddest moment of both the film and the first half of the book was certainly Dobby's death. I cried an ocean every time I read about it, and today in the cinema it was tearing my heart apart to watch the light fade away from the free elf's big eyes. I bet most of the audience shed a tear or two at this point. Truly sad. I'm a crybaby, I know.
On the whole, I enjoyed the movie immensely. Close enough to the plot of the book and very lively. Didn't lack funny stuff. And I just LOVE them all. Madly.
I'm posting this from my mobile, so forgive me any mistypings. I'll update it tomorrow.
